How bad is Miami? This team stinks. They are overpaid, gutless dogs led by a lifetime assistant coach, a lousy QB and a running back that carries the ball like a loaf of bread. Here are some interesting numbers from last week. The great Dolphin defense allowed Houston to score on its final four possessions. The Texans ran 29 plays in those four drives and gained 217 yards. They converted 4 out of 6 third downs and one of those drives consumed 16 plays where they pushed the Miami defense all over the field. Last year David Carr spent most of the season on his back. He was sacked 72 times. Miami had all of zero sacks in the game.

Ricky Williams must be related to Barry Sanders. They both disappear in the 4th quarter. The Dolphins have so much confidence in their running game that they had Arthur Fiedler throwing a lollipop sideline pass that the defender was waiting for before they even broke the huddle. That INT led to the winning FG. It reminded me of the final regular season game against New England last year where Miami needed 2 first downs to run out the clock and Wanstiff sent in 3 passing plays that chewed up all of 19 seconds on the clock. Dave is just too sharp for me.

Miami can't score. The Jets don't even try to score. Paul Hackett loves those 6 yard passes over the middle on 3rd and 10. The Jets have no speed on offense. The only way this game gets near the total is on defensive scores.
